We enjoyed our day out at Harper Adams in April 2015 attending the WIRE Challenge annual conference and what a day of inspiration it was. With skill sessions helping us to reduce our email inbox, better understanding of the cloud what it can offer us and how we can best protect ourselves, plus making more of social media so that it benefits our business's. Thanks to Grace Marshall http://grace-marshall.com/ Deborah Lee http://www.debsylee.com and Martin King-Turner http://www.nb2bc.co.uk
We heard from 3 amazing ladies about their companies and their stories of how they have got to where they are today. Cleopatra Browne shared her start up story and introduced us to her exciting coasteering company Celtic Quest http://www.celticquest.co.uk Julie Croucher told us about her love for South Africa which has led to her starting her own travel company offering bespoke travel packages across the world as well as her beloved South Africa. http://travelwithjules.co.uk/ Our day was brought to finish with energy in the form of Julie Dodsworth and her beautiful designs inspired from the purchase of a narrow boat and her weekend hobby of painting her designs are now appearing on many British products such as Barbour clothing, Wax Lyrical, Churchill China to name a few http://www.juliedodsworth.com
During the breaks and lunch we had a chance to meet and talk with our fellow members and hear of their own triumphsand hurdles.
